The audio clips are 24bit mono AIFFs that run about 10MB each. The mics were set up as close to coincident as humanly possible, pre-amped & converted using 3 channels of a Crane Song Spider. The mics were set to omni about 7" high and 4" in front of a drumkit, and in cardioid about 2" in front of a Tacoma Papoose 3/4 size acoustic guitar. The mic comparison is blind. Please listen to each file carefully and make your own judgement before checking out the key.
