Listen to a selection of mics and preamps in use on recordings and mixes. The only outboard compressor used on the sessions is the FMR- Really Nice Compressor (RNC 1773) on the vocal tracks. The recording platform is SAW Studio running on Windows OS. The MP3 files are 320 kbps coded with iTunes.

Recorded, Mixed and Produced by Dan Richards and Brian McKenzie at The Lazy I.
This was recorded quick and dirty in the tradition of the Ramones as the title track for the upcoming indy film, "Baby Doll". We were going for a retro vibe and even ran the mix to analog reel-to-reel and back into SAW Studio before mastering. The basic tracks were cut in one take. The track was recorded, mixed and mastered in less than 5 hours.
