TLS Meets Steve Bailey and Bobby Thomas, Jr.

TLS NEWS: January 2008 — Bassist Steve Bailey's new CD, "So low.........Solo," was recently released. TLS and engineer Dan Richards "Dot" recorded hand drummer Bobby Thomas, Jr. for the album. TLS NEWS: January 2008 — A graph to describe the sonic characteristics of preamplifiers has been updated and expanded.

TLS NEWS: In 2008 TLS will be releasing over 1000 previously-recorded sound clips of mics and preamps in A/B sessions as well as select mics and pres featured in mixed songs. Stay tuned.

TLS NEWS: Winter 2006/2007 — TLS Recording Workshop Jan 21-27, 2007 in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC!

TLS is putting together an intensive week-long recording and music production workshop. We're gonna pull out all the stops on this one. We'll be recording bands and musicians. Playing with and listening to loads of gear.

The Listening Sessions Meets Bozzio

TLS NEWS: January 2006 — TLS and Dot are gearing up for an upcoming album project with producer/mixer/artist Ronan Chris Murphy. Included in the project will be recording Terry Bozzio and his latest drum kit. The project also includes Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, and Mike Keneally. TLS is working with several high-audio audio manufacturers who's products will be used on the recordings, including A-Designs Audio, Coles Microphones, DPA Microphones, Gotham Audio Cables, Pearl Microphones with Latch Lake Mic Stands to hold it all together. Stay tuned for more news... as a separate section of the TLS website is currently under construction to journal and report on this project. WAV sound files will be provided free online, and the CD will be available when completed.
